For our PSA, we used the programs iMovie and Noteflight. The recording was done on iMovie, as were the subtitles. We got all of the pictures from Google Images, and Ada wrote the music on Noteflight. Some of the challenges while making the video were getting the recordings to sound good, and finding the pictures that we wanted to use. It was also difficult to find a quiet space to record the dialogue. It was frustrating when the pictures we wanted to use were not in focus in the video. Another thing that was frustrating was cutting out one part of the dialogue that had background noise, and having to re-record some of the audio. It was also annoying when the voices overlapped because we did not record them in order. Some of the things we learned how to use iMovie, and how to transfer files from a Chromebook to an iPad (and vice versa). We also learned how to make an effective PSA. Our takeaway from this project is that we need to do something about malaria, and that no matter your age or where you live, you are able to make a difference and help others around the world.
